Movies I watched in November 2020 (38 movies items)" Date: 11/2/2020 Viewed: Netflix Fist Viewing Note: I have looked forward to watching this movie for a while now because I'm a big fan of Charlie Kaufman's work. I do admit that I wanted to wait for the hype to die down because I notice people get so angry when other people don't care for this movie. Enough time has passed and I finally watched it on Netflix. Here he has ventured into some strange Coen Brothers/Stephen King territory. It definitely has its moments and offers a pretty interesting take on relationships in the modern world. But yeah it will be a struggle for most to get through it."
Movies the giraffe watched in 2020: September (28 movies items)"First viewing - Sept. 28th I was pretty well hooked into what was going on here up until the main couple got back in their car and started driving toward home. Then the dialogue got extremely irritating to the point I checked out and let the rest of the film play out in the background. It came off as self-indulgent and pretentious and from what I saw there was never anything approaching a worthwhile payoff for sitting through it.
