“Since I heard some pretty good things about this movie, I was quite eager to check it out. Well, even if it was not bad at all, to be honest, it wasn’t really much more than that after all. First of all, the story had some potential but I never thought it was really fascinating and it was only mildly entertaining. Basically, you had this gang of strippers who drugged out their clients to steal their money which was maybe an effective scheme but I never thought it was brilliant whatsoever. The link with the 2007 financial crisis was also tenuous at best. "First viewing - May 21st Hulu A very well made film all around, with a very good ensemble cast. I passed on seeing this in the theatre despite all the mostly positive reviews it earned, & I can't say I really regret that choice. It's a solid film, but nothing truly great in my book & while I could watch it again I doubt I'll need to."
