I just recently saw the trailer for this. I have to admit I have a guilty pleasure for disaster flicks. This one though looks absolutely incredible and gut-wrenching. I tend to find foreign films grasp horror/thrills so much better than the US a lot of the time. Anyways I was looking around on Netflix and as soon as I spotted it I was excited. Although anticipated, no one is really ready when the mountain pass above the scenic, narrow Norwegian fjord Geiranger, collapses and creates an 85-meter high violent tsunami. A geologist is one of those caught in the middle of it.

"A Norwegian made Hollywood style disaster film. The CGI was pretty good at times and then pretty awful at times. It follows the disaster film formula quite a lot and offers really nothing new. The tone felt a bit darker especially after the tsunami hits than you would have in a American film and I think that is why I liked this more or was it because I was drunk... Well, anyway this ended the film year for me."
