"First viewing - May 9th I watched this on Mother's Day because it was too perfect. And wow did I love this film. The story, the characters, everything works so so well. I appreciated that it gives a nod to trans mothers too, which feels timely now but was ahead of its time in 1999. The only thing missing for me was that perfect 10 feeling, so, yeah, I'll be watching it again. Left HBO Max May 31st"
