Wendy Son - Main Vocalist. Wendy is known for her amazing vocal skills, her intelligence and fatherlike personality. Wendy lived in Canada and was an honor student and athlete, earning various awards for academics and music-related activities. She lived in USA too, where she got an award signed by former USA president Barack Obama, as part of the โPresidentโs Education Awards Programโ. Wendy debuted as a soloist with the EP "Like Water".

Yerim Kim - Lead Rapper, Sub-Vocalist and Maknae, Yeri is known for her sassyness, her funny personallity and is considered Red Velvet's lucky charm. Although Yeri had a brief appearance in the introduction of Red Velvet's debut song, "Happiness", she became part of the group only on March 10, 2015, when she was introduced as a new member during the promotions of their first extended play Ice Cream Cake.
