Paul Verhoeven was born July 18 1938 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Paul began is career by doing a couple of short films A Lizzard Too Much (1960) Nothing Special (1961) The Hitchhikers (1962) Let's Have A Party (1963) and a documentary The Royal Dutch Marine Corps (1965) during is years in the Navy.
in 1971 he finally released is first featured film Business is Business starring Ronnie Bierman, Sylvia De Leur, Piet Römer and Jules Hamel and during is successful career in Netherlands he released Turquish Delight (1973) Soldier Of Orange (1977) and after in the U.S.A. Flesh And Blood (1985) Robocop (1987) Total Recall (1990) Basic Instinc (1992) Starship Troopers (1997) and back in Netherlands the great Black Book released in 2006.
