My Absolute Top 10 of all Time

The movie that most effectively caught my interest and attention from the beginning until the very end. With a gripping intro, a thrilling ride throughout the entire movie, flawed and very human characters, a memorable soundtrack and the strongest ending I've ever seen, this for me became the perfect movie. It simply doesn't have anything I do not like.

The inconsistencies of the Joker? I simply don't need to know why he does it or how he manages to achieve it, that's how great of a villain he is.

My favorite movie of all time and the only movie I watched more than once at the big screen, ever.

As a very young teenager, "The Fellowship of the Ring" was the catapult for the amazing world of movies, most notable (at the time) movies with epic proportions and an adventurous feeling. That movie remained for many years my favorite movie of all time.

"The Return of the King", representing the whole trilogy here, is the intense and emotional conclusion of the greatest journey.

Usually this type of story, sort of romance, doesn't have much emotional impact on me. However, this story, was the most powerful and most human story I have ever seen, a story about a being that just didn't want to be alone anymore. I cried my eyes out in this one.

Not to mention the visually STUNNING scenarios of a desolated post-apocalyptic planet.

Simply one of my favorite movies of all time and the most heart-warming. 2008 was such a good year.

When I saw this movie for the first time (as well as the first one) I was a child that wasn't supposed to be watching it in the first place... but I'm glad I did it because this movie amazed me in every aspect.

It was violent, and it had such a heavy and dark atmosphere you couldn't help but feel the fear felt by the main characters. This movie really gives that rare feeling that it's pointless to run, that there's no hope, that you can't fight it... that it's simply impossible.

The action is simply out of this world and to this day this remains as one of the best action movies ever made in my book, as well as the pinnacle of what the Sci-Fi genre has to offer. And it managed to do it in a very realistic way.

The ending was the most emotional ending I had seen in my early days, I would even say tragic, because it was one of those movies that transcends simple entertainment. Tt injected feelings of fear, adrenaline, hope and sadness in me like no other movie did.

When I first started watching this movie I wasn't sure what I was getting into, I just knew it was a high-regarded crime thriller with a great cast. What I saw was one of the most epic duels I've ever seen on screen, 2 men doing what they do best, the bankrobber who always dodges the police and the cop who never stops chasing them. Al Pacino and De Niro in 2 mind-blowing performances.

One of the most amazingly well-crafted and most interesting movies I have ever had the pleasure to watch. What a thrilling ride, what a simple story, what groundbreaking performances from these 12 men and what an achievement in direction!

What's better than one Godfather? 2 Godfathers.

While many will say that the original Godfather is the better movie (even if they agree this movie is a masterpiece of its own) I say Part II is the superior movie.

Both movies excel in everything, however I think the first movie had better performances while the second one had a greater story and more exciting plot.

But there's a fact: the fact that this movie is only what I think it is, because there was part I.

My favorite movie ever? No. Best movie ever made? Probably not. The best movie I have ever watched? I might consider it.

One cannot understand this movie with words, it must be seen and rewatched totally focused to understand the masterpiece behind it. The ending is shocking, and don't come saying you already saw it coming from miles away. And we are actually continually being hinted at the "truth", I admit that.

WOW! One of the most surprising twists in one of the most well-directed thrillers with one of the most unexpected endings I've ever seen. Simply fantastic movie, among my favorites list.

This movie makes it official, Sir Hitchcock and Jimmy Stewart are now my favorite Director/Actor partnership of all time.
