NewsRadio (1995)
Even Andy Dick was decent in this show. That had to have been hard to pull off.

Community (2009)
I started watching for Joel McHale; Troy and Abed became my favorite characters right away, though.

Better Off Ted (2009)
I don't know who I love more, mad scientists Lem and Phil or the divine Veronica (Portia di Rossi) but this show gave them all (even Ted and Linda) great stories and lines.

Blackadder Goes Forth (1989)
Hugh Laurie, Rowan Atkinson, Stephen Fry, Tony Robinson, Tim McInnerny, Rik Mayall AND Miranda Richardson...wow!
cal331's rating:
Monty Python's Flying Circus (1969)
Just try to pick a favorite Python, or imagine the show without any of them (including Terry G.) Can't be done.
cal331's rating:
Freaks and Geeks (1999)
Every freak and geek in this show was a fantastic character, all of them different from each other in a show that really avoided stereotypes. The result was a wholly refreshing take on adolescence that never felt anything less than authentic.
cal331's rating:
Lost (2004)
A fantastic array of characters on this island..which was a good thing considering the survival rate.
cal331's rating:
Very few shows can give all their cast members compelling storylines and discrete personalities. Most have a couple main characters and fill up the background with poorly fleshed out minor characters. These shows are the exception.
Suggestions welcome! I am pulling from my favorite shows here, but if you have seen something that I missed, let me know!
