Iconic Role Casting: Rogue

My top choice to play Rogue. It looks like she's steadily becoming a rising star. And since she hasn't played a major iconic role yet, Rogue would be the perfect character for her to play. Zoey also has experience talking with a southern accent after appearing in Beautiful Creatures.

Although appearing in yet another popular franchise would be unwise and overwhelming, Daisy would be a really good choice as Rogue. From her role as Rey in Star Wars, she clearly knows how to act tough and strong, which are traits that Rogue possesses. She is a talented actress, so she could easily portray Rogue's pain and emotions. (Also note that Rogue shares the same name as the Star Wars title Rogue One, within a franchise that Daisy Ridley is a part of. So if Daisy happened to be picked as Rogue, it would be like destiny.)

I'm not sure whether she's actually Southern or not, but she definitely had a Southern accent in the TV show The Finder. So like Zoey Deutch, she is another actress who can do a Southern accent.

She has a very distinct look that would make her suitable for Rogue.

Would love to see more of her, and as Rogue would be nice.

Doesn't she look like Anna Paquin in this picture? I feel like that's reason enough to be Rogue. She'd just be a young Anna Paquin, with a southern accent.

She's too old now for the role, but she would still make a good Rogue. She looks tough, and she seems like a great actress. Her role in Pretty Little Liars would definitely impress the producers.

She appeared in Hart of Dixie, so she definitely knows how to do a southern accent. She's also young, which makes her a good candidate for the role.

She really reminds me of Daisy Ridley. They're both non-American, and they're both atypically pretty. Caren seems like a rising star after appearing in The Light Between Oceans and Denial. Not in the same way as Daisy Ridley, which is probably a good thing. Caren is steadily building a solid acting career by not appearing in super famous movies early on. I think it would be nice to see her play an iconic character like Rogue sometime in the future.
