Evolution of Godzilla (UPDATED: 9/16/13)
Godzilla "King of the Monsters" has had many incarnations over the years from his first appearance in 1954 to the soon to release film in 2014 by Legendary pictures.
Along with the different versions of the Godzilla suit over the years this site here has full details for the history of the suit, from each Godzilla film:

So in the mean time here's a list of the evolution of Godzilla!
NOTE: Didn't put the 1998 Godzilla in this list because of how it was panned and for the fact it is known as "Zilla" in Godzilla: Final Wars

FUN FACT: On March 17, 1992, someone sneaked into Toho's special effects department and stole this suit from Toho Studios and remained M.I.A. for several weeks. Ultimately, a terrified old lady discovered, to her obvious shock, this stolen suit laying on a beach near Tokyo Bay in quite a sorry state. It was returned to Toho and repaired in time to be used in both the underwater fight sequence with the larval Battra, and for Godzilla's rise from the erupting Mt. Fuji in Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle For Earth, it's last film appearence before a well-earned retirement.
