Solaris (2002)

George Clooney was awesome in batman, and he is generally ok in my book, but there are exceptions. This movie had a good story, but it was just odd overall. The look and feel, combined with the constant over-dramatizations made the whole ordeal something like a really horrible sci-fi soap opera. Out of all of the movies I have seen, this one would be in the top 3 worst movies I have ever watched.

Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny

Tenacious D has some pretty vulgar music, some of which I like, but taking the whole concept of that kind of music and making a movie is just a bad idea. Don't get me wrong, this movie had its funny moments, but overall the movie was too much in dirty taste for me.

Lord of War (2005)

Ok, this was played as an action movie with a strong message, and I should know better than to listen to the previews, because I was wrong. There was some good action moments, but most of the movie was a gigantic guilt trip about guns and their safety. Again, the plot was pretty good, but the added drama just made the movie a huge political message I could have got from PBS or Michael Moore. Thanks for your concern, but I want a movie to be entertaining, not overly dramatic and depressing.

Kingdom of Heaven (2005)

Put simply, too much talk, not enough action. I mean look at the poster. You advertise a huge amount of action, then give me so little the movie seems more like a medieval drama. This is not to mention the fact that the message of the movie was "fighting doesn't solve anything".......WHAT? I can agree with that message, but you need to do it in the right venue, not a medieval epic battle movie. It may be slightly historical, but it doesn't make a very entertaining movie to me.

Æon Flux (2005)

Another sad case of expecting something and getting nothing. There is a lot to this story, and I believe it is based on a comic book, but it is was not as action packed as I expected. It technology was slightly entertaining, and I don't mind watching it, but it just not what I am looking for in this type of sci-fi flick. To me, it seemed like a web of metaphors and subtle messages that just escape me. Call me what you must, but I just didn't enjoy this movie that much.

What Dreams May Come (1998)

I am not going to lie to you, this was a good movie, it was just too much for me. Nothing stands out as its downfall, it just seemed overly depressing, especially the end. Going by my golden rule, this movie is just too depressing for me. Every time there is hope on the horizon, it comes crashing down in the next scene. In the end, the picture I get is an artist trying his best to crush all the dreams I have, while attempted to convey some crazy messages that I may or may not care about. Not a bad movie, just not my type.

Jackass: The Movie (2002)

What happens when a whole bunch of guys on drugs gets together to do stupid things to make other people on drugs laugh? Yeap, you get this movie. I watched it merely out of curiosity and the fact that I saw the show a couple of times. I can safely say that this movie, at best, is good for a laugh.....once. After a couple of minutes is just gets dumb, sad, and disturbing all in the same uncomfortable package.

12 Monkeys (1995)

Bruce Willis, how could you go so wrong? Actually, he was pretty good in this movie, but what made it so bad is the music. That's right, the music. Every action scene had something like carnival music, which made it all wrong. I am a huge fan of Bruce Willis, but this movie had to be one of the weirdest movies I have ever come across. It is a prime example of how the music can make or break a film.

V for Vendetta (2006)

Really cool knife scene, but no movie can live up to so much hype that it should be the best movie ever made. For me, it just doesn't cut it. A lot of people like the message, the characters, and the movie as a whole. Me, I enjoy the knife fighting and the explosions, but thats about it. The story was interesting, but not enough to make it any better either. This movie just didn't impress me at all.

Click (2006)

There are parts of this movie that makes me laugh for a log time. Truly nothing like farting in your boss's face. But, this movie tries to mix comedy with heavy drama, and it turns out to be a complete disaster. Funny, but sad? That isn't even a good premise.

I am not a cinema expert. I like a lot of movies that are considered "bombs" or "failures". I really don't care much for acting, directors, or obscure hidden messages that the movie conveys. I enjoy movies for entertainment, and it is not hard to make me happy either. That is why I think these movies should be remembered as horrible ones. If I find a movie bad, it is not only a rare occurrence, but usually something went horribly wrong, at least in my view. You may agree, you may not, but these movies will always be in my book for just being absolutely devastating cinema.
