Top 10 best movies 2005

Note : Terrence Malick has directed only 4 movies in almost 40 years. This movie is his least appreciated one. It is actually my favorite (I still have to see "Days of heaven" though). To me, it is the movie with the best poetic feeling ever. It is like watching a poem but not with words but with images and sound. Incredible.

Note : Easily Robert Rodriguez best movie and definitely the best comic book movie/adaptation. Yeah... even though I liked the Dark Knight, this is better! A great achievement.

Note : If you think that Palestinian terrorits are all monsters, you should check this movie. It is really a heartbreaking picture and makes you wonder if they will solve their issue in the middle east one day.

Note : There has been some critic bout this movie especially over the fact that the main character is despicable throughout the whole picture. That's actually one of the best asset of this movie. The main character is a real anti-hero and that makes the movie much more enjoyable. The story and directing are top-notch as well.

Note : A great thriller but totally different from what you would get from a typical Hollywood thriller. I just loved it but it is definitely not for everyone.

Note : This is a unique picture and nothing similar has been done before. The directing and the perfomances provided by the two leads are really great.

Note : It's probably the most underrated movie directed by Spielberg. It's a shame because it is spellbinding and it tells also a very important page of history. A great achievement.

Note : This movie is really heartbreaking and offers no redemption. I think it is a great picture but it is definitely not for everyone.

Note : This is Jason Reitman's first movie and until now (considering Juno and Up in the air), it is his best one. The story is fascinating, the acting is topnotch and the directing is very competent. I loved it.

Note : I loved Dogville and even though this one was not as great, it was still very good. I hope Lars von Trier will finish his trilogy one day.
