This list represents a sampling of my favorite Beatles songs. I'm sure I'm missing some of my favorites and before you scream at me that I forgot such and such a song, remember that tastes are subjective and personal. It also doesn't mean that I don't like their other songs as I can't think of many that I simply do not like.
One of the images from my youth that I will never forget is when their plane first landed in N.Y. in North America for the first time and there were throngs of young women that went to greet them and the screaming and fainting was absolutely unforgetable. Another great memory was their appearance on the Ed Sullivan show which was a variety show that played on Sunday nights.
