Origin of Symmetry - Muse
This is the most special of all and the start of everything. Muse is my favourite band since I was 11 and "Origin Of Symmetry" is the first cd I ever bought. And I still dig it!

Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine
Not only this is one of the best albums ever, but it also taught me to love heavier music and that music and political conscience can walk side by side.

Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls: +DVD - Murderdolls
Murderdolls were a stunning revelation for me!
I have always loved horror movies so finding a band who put great music and monsters together was just the best!
Murderdolls have influenced me a lot, also regarding my clothes and make-up, and they made me discover horror punk.

Devils - The 69 Eyes
The 69 Eyes have been my first step into goth music & culture. Though now I consider them quite poser, they've been important for me to find out certain stuff, and I loved them a lot. And yes, they did write great songs.

Death Before Musick - Amen_II
Casey Chaos is the proof that punk can be alive nowadays. And I mean real punk, not people with spikey hair who play fast music and have a huge bank account. I put this album here because it's the one with which I started, but Amen's "We Have Come For Your Parents" is maybe even better.

Take a Look in the Mirror - Korn
Obviously "Take A Look In The Mirror" is not the best Korn's cd, but it was the first nu-metal cd I ever listened to, plus it has a special meaning because it was a gift from my aunt.
winonaraiden's rating:
Toxicity - System of a Down
I've always considered them as RATM's younger cousins, and I've been nearly obsessed with SOAD for a long time (until they released Mezmerize/Hypnotize, I think they are terrible). Anyway I loved this cd, but I've listened to it so may times I can hardly stand it now.

Now, Diabolical - Satyricon
Oh well, the first black metal band I ever loved.. and still one of the few, since I'm not a big black-metal fan.
And don't try to tell me about Satyricon having sell-out or something of the sort, their black'n'roll is great :D

As the title says, this is the list of the most meaningful cds of my teenage years.
Obviously there are many more albums I consider great (maybe I should do a list of "favourite albums"?) but in this one I only put the ones who started something like a "new era" in my tastes, passions, life and so on.
