"2016 NOMINEE - Blue Spirit Productions/Gebeka Films - Claude Barras/Max Karli"
" Date: 6/12/2020 Viewed: Netflix First Viewing Note: I remember the Internet buzz for this movie during the 89th Academy Awards and I always wanted to check it out for a while now. After watching this movie for the first time, I really enjoy it. The clay stop motion in this movie is fantastic and I love the art direction that this movie has as well. Everything is very pretty to look at and a large amount of effort that the filmmakers that they put into the movie are stunning. For a 70-minut"

“An animated story about a group of orphans that looks like moving Play-Doh and is a co-production between France and Switzerland. Does this sound like”

" First Viewing Viewing Date: May 4th Via: Stan. Plot: After losing his mother, a young boy is sent to a foster home with other orphans his age where he begins to learn the meaning of trust and true love. Rating: 8.1/10"
"There's not too many worse feelings than when you start a film and know exactly beat-for-beat what's going to happen in it within the first 15 minutes. This charmingly animated story about a kid who ends up in a home for abandoned children is exactly that. As a result, all those story beats feel very mild, fluffy. There's a clear attempt at creating a textured cavalcade of characters, but it doesn't pay out as an intriguing movie. My Life as a Zucchini is actually at it's best whenever no one is"
