2008: The Year Comedy Failed

A decent comedic cast falls victim to terrible writing.

Reynolds has a great comedic sensibility, this movie did not showcase that at all.

Even with the addition of Alec Baldwin, this sequel didn't live up the first.

Failed to match the comedy from the first. Filled with tired jokes.

They tried really hard to create similar comedic aspects in this joyless sequel... scratch that, I don't think they tried hardly at all.

Spurlock is just trying too hard to be clever in this documentary that never takes off. 'Super Size Me' was his 'Citizen Kane'.

This one wasn't supposed to be a comedy, but it actually ended up being the funniest movie on this list.
