20 Animated films I loved

After all these years it's still fantastic.Snow White is a great acheivement in film period.

Best Moment:When Snow White Dances with the Dwarves.

Pinocchio is sometimes called the Citizen Kane of animated movies.Which is a perfect way to describe it.It took everything Snow White did and improved upon it.

Best Moment:Pinocchio is trapped in the whale.

Some may call it boring,Some may call it interesting,but I know one thing you can't call it poorly done.A great mixture of Classical Music and Animation.

Best Moment:Night on Bald Mountain or The Pastoral Symphony

Who knew a film about a flying elephant could turn out so well.

Best Moment:Pink Elephants on Parade.

It may seem like just another princess story(because it is),but it has very strong moments.And of couse since it's disney It's very well made.

Best Moment:Cat vs Mice

A great dark adaptation of the classic George Orwell book.Might be my favorite british film ever.

Best Moment:The Animal Overtaking

I call this one Disney's masterpiece.I was wowed the first time I saw this film.It really is a beauty.

Best Moment:The "Boss Battle".

A throwback to the great animated short of the 30s-60s.former Terrytoons director Ralph Bashki adapts Robert Crumb's comic,and turns up the volume.Crumb may not have enjoyed it,but I did.

Best Moment:Fritz's book burning.

Another gem from Ralph Bashki.A different take on the blaxploitation genre.

Best Moment:Rabbit vs the Mafia.

Probably Bashki's best film.A beautiful take on the fantasy Genre.

Best Moment:The big battle.

I would say this film is very underrated.It feels like someone took a Bashki film and a miyazaki film and blended it all together.


Best Moment:The Transformation

Probably the best Anime movie ever.This took me from someone who hated Anime to now liking it.A great acheivement in animation.

Best Moment:Tetsuo escapes.

The first Miyazaki film I saw ,and still the best imo.It's a cute movie that's fun all around.

Best Moment:The girls meet Totoro

I have such a personal bias for this film since it was my favorite growing up.It may not be the best looking,but damnit I love it.

Best Moment:A Whole New World.

TNBC is The first full length Stop-Motion film.It's very well done the characters are great the songs are fantastic.Bravo Selick and Burton.

Best Moment:This is Halloween

Another one I grew up on.It's basically hamlet with Animals.(or you could call it Kimba the White Lion)It's a wonderful film that is still watchable today.

Best Moment:The Stampede.

My personal favorite film from PIXAR.Mike and Sully are a great comedy duo.It's probably the funniest of the PIXAR films I have seen.

Best Moment:The chase for Boo.

Wallace and Gromit's first full-length feature film is a blast.The characters do well in feature form.Which is'nt a surprise.

Best Moment:Wallace's first transformation.

We need more films like this.Persepolis is a very personal adult animated film based on the Iranian Revolution.It uses a very inked art style thatwork very well.

Best Moment:Marji Sings Eye of the Tiger.

Selick does it again.This time he adapts Neil Gaiman's Novel of the same name.Selick once again pays great attention to detail.While presenting a wonderful story.

Best Moment:Coraline meets her other family.
