Sor far so good. The usual antics are abound. I'm curious to see how it ends. I'm not sure if it has a planned ending or it got canceled.
We shall see, with four episodes left...

Season 1
My new favorite talk show. Spade is so quick and witty and sarcastic. His writers are already firing off plenty of usable jokes and quotes.
It's also a refreshing alternative to the other politics-heavy talk show.

Season 1
This one was easy to get through but also tough to watch. The two leads' chemistry is what makes it the most watchable. It also reminds me of an adolescent and far more innocent version of "Natural Born Killers".
I also really like the editing style.

Godless (2017)
Limited Series
Supremely-producted western with everything going for it. It's so close to being really fucking good. Unfortunately there are not enough interesting characters to keep us interested the whole time. Some of the storylines are subpar not fleshed out.
What works the entire time is the cinematography, editing, and acting.
The final episodes rewards us with a bad-ass climax.

Season 1
Classic 90s show that was one of my wife's favorites as a kid. It's fun seeing the storylines, fashion, and characters you definitely don't see in today's television.

Euphoria (2019)
Season 1
Very well made show from HBO, big surprise. While a couple of the main characters are annoying the rest is great and compelling. Zendaya has really impressed me here. The cinematography, editing, and writing are all highlights. It's a fresh and refreshing take on today's high school environment. If you're a parent it will scare the shit out of you!

Season 5
This once great show has weakened. I liked the three story ideas, but the execution was subpar, plus they hired fucking Miley Cyrus. Ugh.

Big Little Lies (2017)
Season 2
The first season had a perfect ending. Once I heard they were going with a second season I had doubts. While this second season was still good... it proved they did not need a second season as nothing really important happened. Just the after-effects of the first season's end and some topical justice.

Season 1
This show felt like one that would have been popular in the 90s and early 2000s. At times it seemed like there was potential for it to get good... but then never delivered. The aptly named Charlotte Best was the strongest part of the cast and show.
I doubt we will be watching a second season.
Stehako's rating:
Season 7 (Final Season)
This was another strong season. So strong it seemed strange they ended it. I guess they wanted to go out before it started to lag, but I so no sign of lag. I think they could have gone one more season.
Oh well, bravo to a brilliant and successful comedy!
Stehako's rating:
Easy (2016)
Season 1
This Chicago-set show started off weak, but that may be because the first story of this multi-story series is the weakest. It's a star studded medley of stories surrounding love, whether it's straight romantic, gay romantic, non-romantic, unrequited, threesomes, brotherly love, or love one's self. I assume they will continue with more variety in season 2... which I think is worth trying out.
Stehako's rating:
Season 6
This season still has the wit but the in-depth topics are not as interesting. Still impressive how they dive into them and make serious shit funny.

House of Cards (2013)
Season 6 (Final Season)
I must say this final season was a little rough and frustrating. The additions of Greg Kinnear and Diane Lane were the highlight. By the time it was over I felt happy I'd never have to hear about the fucking Underwoods again.

Limited Docuseries
This is an incredible story... and the producers/directors/editors have organized it in such a brilliant way. This is how documentary is done.
Are there moments where the details are a little much or not necessary, maybe. But the stories of each interviewer, the cult, the citizens of Oregon, the government, the FBI, the media, the gawkers of the world... to me, were are all necessary.

Elite (2018)
Season 1
This Spanish series is ultimately a disappointment. After hearing it was good I was surprised to find it was an average high school soap opera.

Catch-22 (2019)
Limited Series
Christopher Abbott delivers a captivating and enjoyable performance throughout this limited series after not previously being impressed by him.
The cinematography and visual effects are impressive as are the supporting cast.
The highlight, still, is the source material. It's such a great script and the producers turned it into something memorable.

The Deuce (2017)
Season 2
I love the sense of progress continuing to be made. There is plenty of struggle still and issues for the characters. The series is doing a good job of keeping us interested in the characters and their fights and plights. And boy, is it filled with interesting characters.
The show remains dirty in every sense of the word, haha
Now that I am finished with the season, I confirm it is better than the first. Excellent show.
Stehako's rating:
Our Cartoon President (2018)
Season 1
This current events cartoon captures the absurdity of the current U.S. administration so well it's a sad reminder of how bad our reality is. It's a little too silly at times but the bar for silliness in real life is so high it makes sense why they have to go to such lengths.
Stehako's rating:
Season 2
The first season had a great twist at the end so much of the intrigue for season 2 is based on that. The second season is fine enough; but this is probably the last season I will watch.

Game of Thrones (2011)
Season 8 (Final Season)
Great first three episodes, the fourth episode has me a little worried with how this will end...
Either way, still top notch!

Killing Eve (2018)
Season 1
This show has a great mix of comedy, drama, intrigue, and brilliant psychopathic moments. The characters are very well made and performed. Love the writing and definitely interested in a second season...
Stehako's rating:
Season 3 (Final Season)
Still funny, still clever, characters still quite flawed. It feels like this show could have had one more season to wrap up properly. Still ended fine.

Season 1
A second Amazon show! I must have finally signed up for Prime...
Both Catastrophe and Maisel are shows I have been waiting to see for a few years; and thankfully both are very enjoyable. Mrs. Maisel deserves all the attention and claim it's received.
Brosnahan is quite marvelous, and the support cast is great. The production design and cinematography are noteworthy.
Stehako's rating:
Season 2
A very funny US/UK show about a one-week stand that has big and funny consequences. Both leads are immediately likable and the supporting cast is getting better as the season wears on.

Billions (2016)
Season 2
The characters are still rich, still terrible. Well-crafted story lines and characters. I am liking season two a little more so far...
Stehako's rating:
Schitt's Creek (2015)
Season 1
It's obvious comparison is "Arrested Development" and it's not nearly as funny and the characters are rather annoying so far, even if what they say can be funny. By the end of the first season I they at least do become more likable. Watching second season is possible, since I've heard it gets better.
Stehako's rating:
Season 2
Still dark, still fucked up, still intriguing. Elizabeth Moss continues to prove she is a terrible actress in a very well-made show. It's a relief to not have to watch her act after finishing the season. The cinematography and production design continue to be the highlights. The second season is too long. Hopefully they go back to fewer episodes... if I decide to try a third season.
Stehako's rating:
Westworld (2016)
Season 2
The second season starts out pretty rough and confusing, for the wrong reasons, but there are some gems in there, for sure. Thankfully it ends strong and I am still interested in an eventual third season.

Barry (2018)
Season 1
Bill Hader does great with this comedic/dramatic role. The tone is dark yet there is enough satirical lightness that helps me get through each episode.
Stehako's rating:
Baby (2018)
Season 1
This needs to be watched in the Italian language. The English dubbing is really bad. However, if you watch in Italian, it's still not a great show. It's pacing is frustrating and the characers are slow to develop into anything very interesting. Still, I am intrigued by where this is going to go. There is a slight possibility I will try a second season...

Shameless (US) (2011)

So far this Season is proving once again there are plenty of antics for the Gallagher gang to indulge in...
Stehako's rating:
Altered Carbon (2018)
Season 1
A cheesy Blade Runner, as my wife so efficiently puts it. Joel Kinneman's voice and acting are B-Level and Purefoy isn't much better. The main redeeming actor is Martha Higareda.
I think they effectively create an entire new world, but it's filled with terrible people and things and, once again, the only thing redeeming about it is Martha Higareda.

The final season proves, in its fourth season, it is still one of the most undermentioned shows out there. Top notch.
Stehako's rating:
Black Mirror Season 4 (2018)
Season 4
The first episode seemed to illicit the most conversations but I found it to be one of the weaker stories in what is yet another very strong and fantastic series. A couple more seasons of this and this could easily rival The Twilight Zone in excellent sci-fi storytelling.
Season 2
This comedy was a big surprise for me in its first season. It started off rocky but ended delivery plenty of laughs.
Season immediately gets the laughs going. The main actors all have great comedic timing and rapport.
Stehako's rating:
Bodyguard (2018)
Season 1 (Single Season)
A smart and well-paced British action/love story. The relationships are believable and the acting is great.
