" First Viewing Viewing Date: March 9th Via: Plex Plot: Trapped in an isolated gas station by a voracious Splinter parasite that transforms its still-living victims into deadly hosts, a young couple and an escaped convict must find a way to work together to survive. Rating: 6.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? It was free on Plex and looked interesting, plus the ratings were promising."

" Date: 5/13/2019 Viewed: Shutter Re-Watch Note: First time seeing this movie in 10 years (I haven't seen it since 2009 on DVD). I like the first time I saw it, but now I like it less than I did a decade ago. I love the special effects, the gore, the atmosphere and the concept behind the movie. What ruins the movie for me is the characters because I nearly did not like any of them. Dennis is probably the only character in the movie that I felt like that had some type of development. If you like"

"The monster looked okay when it was a pile of bodies together, or maybe not... It was really hard to tell with the editing. Some good body horror moments were the highlight of the film. "
"Directed by Toby Wilkins Starring Paulo Constanzo, Charles Baker, Jill Wagner, Shea Whigham, Laurel Whitsett, and Rachel Kerbs "
