BAMF

This really intrigued me since it was written and directed by comedic newscaster Jon Stewart. I think he did an excellent job with this story. The acting is superb. There is a bit of dark humor that you can tell was part of what made this a part of Jon Stewart. This is a bit of a slow burner so don't expect a lot of action or anything like that. " Bernal does a great job in the lead, directed by TV host John Stewart. It's done well enough, and it's an important story; but it never gets out of the made-for-tv feel."

" DVD- 1hr. 43min. First Viewing Rosewater is obviously well-intentioned, and that takes the movie surprisingly far, but there's not a whole lot new or inventive here. It's solidly made with a great deal of empathy, but it's just missing an urgency that would've made it vital viewing."
