best of britsh - bases on an old 70's Bury Reynolds number - story is good - the rest is what we have come to expect - top 50 Brisith films of all time.

To be honest, I wasn’t really expecting much from this flick but I thought I might as well check it out. "20/8/17 Vinnie Jones stars in this British remake of The Longest Yard, playing a disgraced football star sent to prison and forced by Warden David Hemmings to form a football team to play the guards. Riding on the success of Lock, Stock, this has plenty of stereotypes and the story is a carbon copy of the original but there are moments of fun, including a bizarre performance from Jason Statham."
