"15/1/17 A real curiosity. A musical comedy about a bankrupt millionaire who persuades his scullery maid to pretend to be his daughter in order to marry into money is a messy affair. Yet the film sidelines the story in order for the very young Frank Sinatra to croon through a series of ballads, in one of his first screen appearances."
