(OK) There is some fun in the 'chinese laundry' (title and motto of Von Sternberg's autobiography) and, most of all, a romanesque viwe of genre ellegance, wit and charm, of a woman above sex and mystic...For such a character concept, the antologhy scenes of her execution...
