As with many sequels, I decided to watch it because I had enjoyed the first movie a lot. This one, however, was quite a disappointment.

I found Bridget's character unlikeable. The plot seemed to have been written by a 15-year-old girl in her Friday night fantasies over the cool jock of the class.

Moon River

good..well, there were a few things i didn't like but i pretty much enjoyed it. It wasn't as good as the first one (maybe because it wasn't directed by Sharon Maguire) but i pretty much liked it. I know many people doesn't like it, it's true it wasn't a masterpiece.
I liked Renee's performance too. And Colin...he wasn't really good and Hugh the same but how i am a huge fan of Bridget Jone... read more

An average movie

“In 2016, they finally released a 3rd instalment for this franchise and, even though I expected it to be a massive critical and commercial failure, it was in fact fairly well received and it turned to be even a box-office hit. With this in mind, I will probably give in and watch it with my wife since she was so eager to check the damned thing. Anyway, my lack of enthusiasm towards this movie probably had to do with the fact that this first sequel was just so damned underwhelming. Indeed, even though ‘Bridget Jones's Diary' was maybe not really flawless, it was seriously entertaining and it is definitely a classic rom-com. Obviously, since it was such a success, it was not surprising that they would come up with such a sequel but I never expected it to be so lame. The first mistake they ma” read more
