“To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the damned thing but since it was starring Al Pacino, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, even though, like many other recent movies starring the legendary actor, it did receive some rather abysmal reviews, I thought it was not so bad though. Basically, pretty much like ‘Resistance’, another WWII movie starring Jesse Eisenberg I saw the day before, I think it was a very interesting story which suffered from very poor execution. At least, Al Pacino did deliver a solid performance, even if his character was not developed whatsoever. However, the rest of the cast, especially Meadow Williams, was really weak though.
