Fanny and Alexander (2006)
...have never seen a movie that lacks CGI special effects and that is driven purely on story and characters
Nattkrypet's rating:

Casablanca (1942)
...have never seen black and white movies because you think film should be in the same colors as what you see everyday instead of film that takes away all distractions and give you shadows and light instead... There is also much more HEART in the old productions
Nattkrypet's rating:

Sunrise (1927)
...haven't experienced film as it really is: Moving Images without sound. Silent movies don't have dialogue and necessarily music that tell you have to feel and then you have to actually feel the art yourself.
Nattkrypet's rating:

The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
...just love one genre. Then you specialize and is expert in a genre but not in film as a whole - and you lose so much experience and understanding of film.
Nattkrypet's rating:

...don't touch exploitation, lowbudget horror or extreme underground movies because you are a snob. You lose a different side of important film that tell us about the dark side of soceity or get to miss films that tell you a different type of life, feelings and craziness that other films will never show you.
Nattkrypet's rating:

Pirates (2005)
...think X-rated films are filthy. There is porn that is done properly and are made for film with big budgets and there is the low-budget dirty and gritty stuff. It is also important stuff as the genre has been with us since film started and it triggers other type of fantasies that "normal" film never dare to touch except if you are a radical and true film director like Lars von Trier and Gaspar Noe. Hell, even Steven Spielberg gave the Cannes Gold Palm to a movie with near-X rated scenes so don't say sex is not art.
...don't see concert movies as film history when it is actually BOTH movie history and music history blended together. While we get fantastic performances put on film by the artist or band who was on stage.
Hearts and Minds (1975)
...skip documentaries because it is not fiction movies. Documentaries is important windows to places and minds where most of us film buffs will never venture nor experience and are important films as they give room for discussion, after-thoughts and one could actually learn something. Documentaries can be art as well with images that linger longer than any other mediocre film.

I Am Cuba (1964)
...you don't see films with subtitles that are foreign. Not only is that a racist thought-set and comment but in a way one also lose another window to other cultures, countries and fantastic artistic imagery. I for one am really happy that I come from a country that subtitle most of their films (except for children) and show film from every corner of the world. It may not be enough but it is then as a film expert one goes on the internet and order even more movies from abroad. Hell, I even have 5 Nigerian movies on old Video CDs in my collection after a visit there for 15 years ago when I was 21.
...think kiddie movies are only for kiddies. It is the children who shall inherit the Earth and it is important to know what they are forced to experience during their childhood from Hollywood or your national film industry. How else can we know what future is in hold for planet Earth?
Ash vs. Evil Dead (2015)
...say that T.V. is not film? Sorry to tell you but that line has been blurred out long time ago. T.V. is also produced on film (since it started) except for some live productions and early recordings taped on video (sadly, enough). T.V. has usually some great actors and actresses who transcended to film afterwards - and even more importantly now T.V. even have more freedom than film (especially on cable) giving us worlds and stories that would never have passed on film where ticket sales are even more important. Final proof: stories that begun on TV seem to continue on film (and vice versa) and nothing has sold me more the fact that film and T.V. is the same as the continuation of Bruce Campbell's Ash on Starz... Furthermore Twin Peaks is T.V. art of a different world.
Nattkrypet's rating:

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - PlayStation 3
...don't see that computer games is the next art form that has become film. Games are complex and give people chance to live an interactive film if done properly. It includes several great actors and actresses from film who sometimes do things excellent other times poorly (just as in film) and the stories are sometimes deeper and more heartfelt than anything a movie puts out. There is also more creative freedom in a game to create own universes, rules and ideas and there has been several games that has been turned into films and vice versa. I still await the game that is most perfect for a film adaptation but it could also be that it could be that this is also one of the first game franchises that is also a film?
Nattkrypet's rating:

Arn: The Knight Templar (2007)
...complain about the adaptation of a book to the screen but haven't read the book. It is necessary to at least grasp what was the intention of the writer before one complain that the movie is not perfect.
This is a list about people who think they know everything about movies but there are some essential stuff that they need to see and experience before they even can go so far and call themselves experts if the only movies they have seen has been the last 10 years of summer box-office movies and your age is 16.
