Why I like it? The skyscraper made of words works really well, which is why I think its their best poster. I hate the world as the 'O', really crude design element.

Why do I like it? So many reasons, for a start we have black and white again. The pool of blood works as a design element, and with that colour of background - so much better than just a red background. Check out the other posters for this movie to see the difference a good design makes.

Before you see any movie, you will typically experience its poster first, even if its just in the lobby. These works of art/graphic design sometimes give you a glimpse of the movie, a clue as to what to expect. Other times they conceal the truth of the movie, for good cause - because its dire! This list is about the best posters, the ones that grab my attention or ones that stuck with me over time, its not about the quality of the film.

Oh and please do allow for personal preference here, this is a list of movie posters that I appreciated or liked (not just award winners). I've also listed the official blurb from each company or the people that created them.

Due to the size of this project, lists will appear alphabetically by designer.
