My absolute favorite anime. Hero Alibaba teams up with Aladin and Morgiana to conquer Dungeons and one day become a king. But the more they work together, the more they discover the darkness that plagues the world and many of their friends.
This anime has beautiful artwork, amazing character battle designs, great voice acting, and a perfect mix of side-splitting comedy and edge-of-your-seat action that will make you binge watch all of seasons 1 and 2. Then you'll read the manga. Then you'll watch the spin-off, Adventures of sinbad (which is amazing by the way.) Then you'll read the manga corresponding to that spin-off. This is the kind of anime that you never get enough of, and I highly recommend it to anybody and everybody.

Wolf's Rain (2003)
This anime has the feels. It has the smiles. It has the beautiful artwork and the amazing storyline that will make you binge watch the whole way through. And to top it all off, the dub voice acting is also amazing.
Our heros Kiba, Tsume, Toboe, and Hige live in a post-apocalyptic world where wolves have been nearly eradicated from existence. To blend in, the wolves developed the ability to pose as regular humans. According to legend, at the end of the world, the wolves can find paradise and live peacefully together. As Kiba and friends set out to discover paradise, they are faced with greed, evil, hate, anger, despair and vengeance by wolf and human alike on their quest to find eternal happiness.
Never have I ever cried as hard during an anime as I have during Wolf's Rain. This is truly a masterpiece lost to time.

Steins;Gate (2011)
Students;Gate is...well, unusual. It is based off a visual novel style video game, where "Mad Scientist" Okabe and his friends Mayushii, Daru and Kurisu invent the world's first time machine. However, this device proves to be more trouble that it's worth, plunging poor Okabe and his friends into a world of deception, despair, and jellified bananas.
This anime starts out pretty funny, making you love the characters, then does a 180 to the feels. And man, are there feels. This anime's storyline is never for one second dull, and you'll find yourself immediately drawn in.
I also highly recommend playing the game, as its character development is far superior to the anime because it has many different endings that really show you who each character truly are.

Another (2012)
This is the kind of anime that leaves you with a cliffhanger after every episode. Hero Kouichhi transfers schools after recovering from an illness in the hospital. Upon his return to school, he discovers the strange behavior of his classmates toward Misaki Mei, a classmate. Unwilling to go along with their blatant mistreatment of Mei, Kouichhi unwittingly unleashes the curse that looms over the class, a curse which kills off students and/or their families every month. Can Kouichhi and Mei break this curse?
What the anime lacks in pure gore, it makes up for in psychological horror that sends shivers down your spine. This anime has twists and turns that you were never expecting, and some that you were but we're praying wouldn't happen. This anime makes you fall in love with its characters, then leaves you with a sense of emptiness when they die. And it leaves you thinking, why? This anime is definitely a must watch for any psychological horror fan, or any anime fan at all.

Erased (2016)
Erased (aka Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi)is a new anime released this year, and has received a bit of hype among anime fans, bit it still remains fairly obscure as of now. I believe this will change in the future, but for now, it will be on this list.
Hero Satoru has a unique ability: when tragedy is about to strike, he is sent back in time to a few minutes before it happens, so that he can prevent it. But when his own mother becomes the victim of tragedy, Satoru is sent back 18 to prevent the kidnapping-murder of 3 of his classmates, which somehow connects to his mother's murder 18 years in the future.
This anime has a very unique story, one that will grab you and make you keep watching. I highly recommend this anime, which will make you smile, cry, and sit empitly on your bed contemplating why people do such horrific things.
