Titles Most Wanted On Blu-ray

Most Wanted

Yes, the Star Wars films are all on Blu-ray, but I want a proper remaster of the original unaltered versions of the original trilogy, not the repulsive bastardisations. I have the Blu-ray set with the molested versions, but I cannot bring myself to watch them. I stick with bootlegs of the original unaltered versions.
Chatter of the original versions reaching Blu do pop up now and again. With Disney now controlling the saga, they would see big dollar-signs in such a venture. Fox do still own the original movies, but surely Fox and Disney can reach an agreement that sees millions of dollars in profits.

A Blu-ray release of True Lies is more or less inevitable, but it's a tremendous worry that it hasn't happened yet. Is Fox nervous about the costs of a proper Cameron-approved remaster? Are they trying to negotiate a full-blown special edition treatment packed with extras, but are a bit weary of whether or not it'll make a profit?
I would love to own this movie on Blu-ray, it would look spectacular. It's such a superb action movie.

Update: Well, it happened... kinda. A Blu-ray was released in Spain. It’s fine but I’m not really counting it because it’s unauthorised and Fox can do better.

When Trumpets Fade is a telemovie from HBO, and it's so underrated that practically nobody knows about it. It's so great, and I'm so dissatisfied with the DVD we're left with: full-screen with borderline VHS quality.
What's going on, HBO? I would pay a decent price for this movie in HD, beautifully remastered in widescreen. Surely a HD master exists out there somewhere for television syndication, and if not, why not?

On a number of occasions, I have directly asked the makers behind Outpost about a potential Blu-ray release of this low-budget gem. The closest I got to an answer was them saying it's on the cards, but they need to get the rights. Evidently, the filmmakers want to do it, but the distributor is a bit weary.
I'd really love to see this movie on Blu-ray, in glorious HD which will do justice to the gorgeous visual design of deep blacks and shadows. It would give the movie a great boost.

Yes, Jackass 3 has seen a Blu-ray release. But not in 3D. Oh yeah, they released a shitty 3D version, but not a true 3D version. That's what I want.
A master exists, as it has seen syndication on TV. And some 3D titles were given the true 3D treatment further down the track. But Paramount has actually addressed this one, saying it's not on the schedule for the foreseeable future. Balls!

They Got Released!
As more and more catalogue titles reach the format, here are a few movies I would buy on Blu-ray ASAP.
There are some obscure titles here, as well as some movies that you would seriously have expected to have reached Blu at this point.
