Technically the most talented/technical band on this list. They combine the most genres of music in a band. Melodic singing and solos that are out of this world.

Progressive metal with classic sounding rock, with quintessential creativity, is a sure win. A triumphant band with killer concept albums. Amazingly technical also.

Going from grindcore/goregrind to deathcore, ID is still as killer as ever. With amazing Christian filled lyrics, they mean a lot to me. Musically they're excellent as making up ear-crushing breakdowns. Growls to make me go hey-wire for years to come.

Technical and ferocious..count me in. Jonny Davy has some of the most eerie death metal growls, high pitched screaming and even pig squeals. Every one of their members is EXTREMELY talented.

Beautiful operatic-influenced singing by Simone Simons, drives the band along with Mark Jansen's symphonic melodic ideas. Everything about Epica is just really interesting and superb..ahh Simone

Raw vocals with deep passion and ferocity. NJ changes up tunings a lot, unlike 99% of bands. Southern influences, metal, hardcore, rock, alternative and even nu-metal. It's all there. Not to mention they're killer live and Christians.
