My Favorite Bands (20-1)

Sort by: Showing 19 items
Rating: List Type:
Ska band, with heartfelt Christian lyrics, I can relate to. Most unique ska I've heard.

Album: Supertones Strike Back

Song: Return of the Revolution

4crazyweldermen's rating:
Technically the most talented/technical band on this list. They combine the most genres of music in a band. Melodic singing and solos that are out of this world.

Album: Alaska

Song: Croakies and Boat Shoes.

Progressive metal with classic sounding rock, with quintessential creativity, is a sure win. A triumphant band with killer concept albums. Amazingly technical also.

Album: Crack The Sky

Song: Iron Tusk

Deathcore hardcore Christian metal right here. A hilarious band that's really goofy, yet knows when to be serious. They have some killer breakdowns and melodic/harmonizing solos.

Album: A Critique of Mind and Thought.

Song: A Hymn of Praise
4crazyweldermen's rating:
Melodic death metal with spacey/time/interesting lyrical themes haha. Seen them in concert and they improvised solos and blew me away. Astounding Growling and melodic singing..heck everything about them is melodic haha.

Album: Holographic Universe

Song: Chaosweaver

4crazyweldermen's rating:
Going from grindcore/goregrind to deathcore, ID is still as killer as ever. With amazing Christian filled lyrics, they mean a lot to me. Musically they're excellent as making up ear-crushing breakdowns. Growls to make me go hey-wire for years to come.

Album: Nailed.Dead.Risen.

Song: More Than Conquerors

Arguably the best band to ever exist, if you don't know why..listen to them.

Album: Rubber Soul

Song: Helter Skelter/Twist and Shout

Everyone knows and frankly most enjoy them. I don't care that they're popular. Hayley William's voice is spectacular live and on the record. Great punk/pop music. It's rare to find.

Album: Riot!

Song: Fences

4crazyweldermen's rating:
Technical and ferocious..count me in. Jonny Davy has some of the most eerie death metal growls, high pitched screaming and even pig squeals. Every one of their members is EXTREMELY talented.

Album: DOOM EP

Song: Entombment of a Machine or Ruination

Beautiful operatic-influenced singing by Simone Simons, drives the band along with Mark Jansen's symphonic melodic ideas. Everything about Epica is just really interesting and superb..ahh Simone
4crazyweldermen's rating:
Christian melodic death metal, metalcore..whatever ahahah. BTA is BA and phenomenal. Riffage with ferocity and eerie keyboards are awesome. Not to mention killer lyrics.

Album: Terminate Damnation

Song: Elegy

Raw vocals with deep passion and ferocity. NJ changes up tunings a lot, unlike 99% of bands. Southern influences, metal, hardcore, rock, alternative and even nu-metal. It's all there. Not to mention they're killer live and Christians.

Album: Redeemer/Meridional CAN'T DECIDE!! HAHAHA

Song: Amnesty Please

Great hardcore/metalcore with some of the most emotional/inspiring lyrics I've ever heard. I get waay into them. They have grand melodic riffs and WICKED WICKED BREAKDOWNS.

Album: Breaker
