Note: The Lighthouse is a great movie from start to finish in my opinion. The movie felt like a mix between a David Lynch movie and a James Whale movie. This movie has amazing cinematography and great acting. Both Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe did an amazing job on their roles. The only thing that I didn't like about the movie was a bit slow at times. Other than that, I loved this movie.

I'm not sure if I like this movie more than The Witch or not yet. I will need to see this movie a few more times before I make any comparison between the two. I highly recommend this movie!

Note: Friday is still hilarious to watch even almost 25 years later. The humor is very funny and the characters are memorable. I always love the characters in this movie because they feel like people that you would know in real life. I also like that the movie has a message behind it when it comes to violence in the hood. I feel like the sequels are nowhere as good as the first movie in my opinion. Check out this movie if you never seen it before.

Note: I decided to watch this movie after hearing good things about it. This movie was not bad at all and I end up liking it. This movie is far from being great because some characters in this movie are a bit cliché and it takes a while for anything to happen. However, the movie is a lot of fun to watch because it has some cool kills. Not to mention, the movie has some really cool lighting. I also thought the ending was not as predictable as I thought it was going to be. Overall, this is a fun horror movie that is worth checking out.

Note: 65 years later and this movie is still an important cinematic achievement in film history. This movie is a dark and gritty movie that deals with the themes of nuclear war and how nature was going to take revenge on humanity. All the characters in this movie are fantastic and are very memorable. I still love the special effects that they were able to pull off because they look great in a 1954 stand point of view.

Overall, this movie is still a masterpiece and Godzilla help me become the movie lover that I'm today. If you never seen this movie before, do it now!

Note: This movie is a great comeback for Eddie Murphy that I have waited for over 20 years for. Eddie Murphy does a great job on playing as Rudy Ray Moore that it felt like that I was watching the real version of Rudy Ray Moore on screen. Not to mention, I felt like this movie was very funny and heartfelt at the same time. I'm pretty sure this movie is not 100% true to the real story of making this movie, but that does not bother me. Overall, I really enjoy this movie and I would love to watch it again.

Note: 30 years later and this movie is still a masterpiece. It is amazing how this movie feels very relevant and not dated (Except for the clothes and the technology that people use in the movie). It shows that times have not changed that much in the last three decades. I also love all the characters in this movie because they are memorable and have great personalities to them. The overall message of this movie of not using violence to solve your problems and doing the right thing is why I love this movie so much. I can't think anything else that is wrong with this movie. This a movie that everyone should see.

Note:I remember when this movie came out in 2017 and I didn't see it until now. I thought it was a pretty solid movie from start to finish. I love the acting in this movie because everyone in this movie felt like real life people. The characters in this movie are the type of people who you would know in real life. Even the kids felt very realistic because I had friends who were just like these kids in this movie when I was growing up. Not to mention, the cinematography in this movie is amazing. Everything in this movie is wonderful to look at.

I did felt like the movie was a bit long and it didn't need to be 111 minutes. Overall, The Florida Project was a solid movie and it is worth checking out.

Note: I finally got the chance to see this movie after hearing great things about it. I really enjoy this movie from start to finish because I thought it was pretty clever and original. The movie has a pretty good social commentary on toxic masculinity. I really like the movie's themes on strength and how intrinsic values can lead to various forms of conflict. The acting was very good and the dark comedy was pretty well executed for the most part.

Overall, The Art of Self-Defense is a movie that is worth checking out.

Note: I haven't seen this movie in ages and it still holds up. I still think the themes of the story in the movie are pretty relevant in today's world. The movie has a great cast of characters and very good acting in my opinion. You really feel and care about everyone in this movie. If you haven't seen this movie before, do it now.

Note: I felt like driving sharp objects through my skin when watching this movie. Nothing about this movie was funny at all. This movie is trying so hard to be like a classic Troma movie and it ends up being super cringy. The jokes in this movie are lame and unoriginal. This movie is 103 minutes long and I turned it off about 20 minutes in because I could not take it anymore.

I know this movie is meant to be a parody, but that does give you an excuse to be bad. I give this movie a 1/5 rating and not a .5/5 rating because I did like the aesthetics of the movie. They did a good job on making the movie look like it if it was recorded off of a 80s TV network.

Note: One of my favorite movies from the 90s and Joel Schumacher at his best. I love the story and atmosphere at this movie has because it is so interesting to see how an average hard-working middle class person becomes a mad man from being pushed around from society. This movie is still relevant today despite the technology being dated. This movie shows us the warnings on when someone is pushed too far. Not to mention, the acting in this movie is great. Everyone does a good job on their roles.

Funny how no one talks about The Joker movie from this year shares many similarities with this movie. I feel like Falling Down is a better made movie than Joker in my opinion, but that's just me (It is ironic that Joel Schumancher would later do two Batman movies after this movie).

Overall, Falling Down is a great movie that deals with the decay of society. I highly recommend this movie.

Note: I finally got the chance to see this movie and I loved it. This movie is 147 minutes long and not a single moment was boring. I loved the cinematography and atmosphere that this movie has because this movie is wonderful to look at. Not to mention, I love how surreal this movie can be at times. I haven't seen a movie that is surreal, gory, and absolutely beautiful at the same time probably since Antichrist (2009).

While the story may not be 100% original, I thought the story was very interesting and well done in my opinion. The only thing that I didn't like about this movie was that some of the character development could have been better.

Overall, I loved this movie and I can't wait to track down the Director's Cut. This movie is worth checking out if you enjoy artsy horror movies.

Note: I decided to check out this movie after hearing good things about it. I thought it was a fun over the top movie from start to finish. This movie is not great, but it is not terrible neither. I dig the movie's satire on Dysfunctional families in today's society. Not to mention, you get to see Nic Cage being super over the top as well.

I also like that this movie is only 83 minutes long because it is the perfect runtime for this movie. The only thing that I didn't like about the movie is the ending because the movie cuts off out of nowhere. I also feel like that they didn't explain somethings in the movie very well.

Overall, Mom and Dad is a fun horror comedy that is worth checking out if you want something that is short to watch.

Note: I remember when this movie came out in 2012, but I never had the chance to see it. Seven years later, I finally saw the movie and I really enjoy it. This movie is a very fun surreal and creative movie from start to finished. I love how this movie is intriguing because it has a non-linear story. The movie's themes on what does it mean to be an actor is also very clever as well. Not to mention, this movie is almost 2 hours long and not a single moment was boring.

Overall, Holy Motors is a great movie that I will never forget. This movie is worth checking out if you enjoy bizarre movies.

Note: I already rewatch Cinema Paradiso back in January and I had to watch it again in my film class. Cinema Paradiso is in my top 50 favorite movies of all time because I love the story and characters. This movie is a love letter to movies with a heartwarming story that will also make you cry as well. I feel like that I can't add anything new to say because everyone else has talked about this movie to death. I highly recommend this movie if you never seen it before.

Note: I knew nothing about this movie before I saw it and I end up really liking it. It felt like a modern urban spin on Martin (1978). I love all the characters and the acting was very good. Not to mention, I love how the characters in this movie deal with the trauma of the real world that we live in. I think the reason why most people didn't like this movie because they thought it was going to be another typical vampire movie. I think this movie being so creative and different on the vampire genre is why I really like this movie so much.

Overall, I highly recommend The Transfiguration. Probably my favorite vampire movie since Let The Right One In (2008).

Note: I decided to check out this movie after hearing good things about it. I thought it was a solid movie for the most part. The movie had a suspenseful atmosphere and very good acting. I like how the movie was not a long movie because the run time was perfect. A movie like this needs to be 82 minutes and not 100+ minutes long. I also like how the story was unpredictable because this movie has some twist that you would not see coming.

The only thing I didn't like about the movie was that it took me a while to get used to the characters. Overall, Harpoon is a fun horror movie that is worth checking out.

Note: I have waited to check out this movie for a while now. After watching it on Netflix, I really enjoy it. While the story is nothing original and it can be rather predictable at times, I still like the characters in the movie. You really care about what the main character is going through and you can feel the emotional connection between her and her daughter. The movie also has awesome fight choreography and the cinematography is fantastic. None of the fight scenes are boring and I love any movie that uses neon lighting.

I'm surprise how tame this movie was because there's no blood, gore, or any nudity in it. Asian action movies are known to be ultra violent at times, but this movie feels like a hard PG-13. Overall, Furie is a fun action movie that is worth watching on Netflix (As of November 2019).

Note: I haven't seen this movie in the last 25 years since the VHS days. When I was a kid in the 90s, I wanted to rent as many Dinosaur movies that I can find at my local video store. I decided to watch this movie on Blu-Ray after Kino released it. Even without my nostalgia goggles on, Dinosaurus! is not a bad movie.

This movie is not great when it comes to story telling and characters because the plot is pretty silly and the characters are a bit cliché. Julio and the Caveman are probably the best characters in this movie because they have the best personalities compare to the other characters.

While the story and characters may not be great, you still get cool special effects and awesome action sequences. The special effects in this movie are pretty good seeing how this movie is almost 60 years old and the cinematography is very colorful to look at. It's fun to see two Dinosaurs go around the Island and cause some major havoc.

Overall, Dinosaurus! is a fun B movie that is worth checking out. This is a movie for all ages to enjoy.

This is a type of movie that you watch without knowing about it. This movie really had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The acting was great and all the characters are likable. This movie is a movie that is worth checking out.

Note: I decided to rewatch this movie on Netflix because it has been ages since I have seen this movie. This movie is still funny as always from start to finish. This movie always has a lot of great funny memorable moments that I still laugh at. People who are not fans of the show will probably won't like this movie as much, but I still love both the show and the movie. Not to mention, the animation still holds up very well.

Note: Like most people on Thanksgiving, I like to rewatch this movie. This is my favorite John Hughes movie next to Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Sixteen Candles. The humor is still funny and the characters are great. Everyone in this movie is memorable and are filled with good personalities. Not much else that I can say about this movie that has not been said before. Check it out if you never seen it before.

Note: I decided to watch this movie on Netflix after hearing good things about it. It was a solid dark and gritty action movie without a single dull moment. The movie has great brutal action sequences that are enjoyable to watch. I really like the main character (Played by Scott Adkins) and how he beats up everyone in this movie. Scott Adkins character almost reminds me of an old fashion 80s action hero where he is not scared to kill anyone in his way.

While the story may not be anything high art, you still get a pretty interesting story that keeps you entertain. Overall, Avengement is a great action movie that is worth checking out. I won't mind seeing it again.

Note: I just saw this movie in theaters today and I really like it. The movie has a great cast of characters and the acting is solid. For a movie that is over 2 hours long, this movie didn't bore me. This movie had me on the edge of my seat on what will happen next. I also like that this movie has a pretty cool twist as well. This movie is worth checking out.
