I have no real problem with the subject matter of this film, like a lot of people seemed to back when it came out, except that it gives way to an overload of bad CG. For the first act, it definitely feels like Indiana Jones, there's a couple fun setpieces and an intriguing story, but at some point it just becomes a big, loud mess that wasn't fun to watch at all. It was shocking how unattractive this film was visually as that's usually something I can rely on Spielberg not screwing up. This movie is forgettable at best.
