"Ultimatum alla Terra" was a pop movie in Italy too, is tag-line :
Klaatu barada nikto !
was seminal for pop culture in 60's, 70's, 80's unless Alien coming...

OK...the "Space Age" has started...but I'd like to see this girl going downtown with the space outfit...

Hey waiddaaminnutee...a scify flick with Naked Gun's Nielsen ???
That's PURE fantasy...but I like this movie...a starship, a new planet, space infantry and a big robot as a little dog for a cutie.

Now I'm ready for some Cinecittà peplum movies...thanks Robbie !

"Tobor il conquistatore" wasn't a B-movie, it was before "Forbidden planet" so the big TOBOR-ROBOT idea wasn't new, second the plot was about how to replace an human team for interstellar travel, and a big robot with A.I. was a good idea. Third : 50's was very "Cold War" time and the villains had slavian accent and the boss had the face of Palmiro Togliatti, the chief of the biggest commie party of western Europe...unfortunately it was in Italy...later Togliatti died in USSR...make your own idea.

Tobor in the General Electrics re-generator...later they use the same project for micro-wave oven.

A kazakhian girl with 50's Аэрофлот/Aeroflot uniform.

This is not Mars...is NOLA !!!!

This is not New Orleans, is Venus !
I love this Gianni & Pinotto spoof, from the title... they first go to NOLA then to planet Venus, never to Mars. And the beautiful female cast with most of the Miss Universe contestants.

Bizarre Venusian...she resembled a girl from Sweden that spent all life in Italy...

I don't know much about this British flick, but the PVC outfit of the actress Patricia Laffan, the Devil Girl from Mars, and her ray-gun was out of time !

She can be in a Marvel movie...today... (Thanks Mutu/Fit for the pic)

The gal with puffy cheeks next to Devil Girl was Adrienne Corri...

Movie list is not a proper term for that...I was thinking about a list when I was watching Abbott & Costello so nothing serious...I want to publish it on Mardi Gras but I'm damn lazy in this period...maybe it's the mild winter...almost springtime...so wait for part II !
Maybe tomorrow, maybe next summer...

Say cheers to my fav Space Girl Lt Gay Ellis...she turns 70 in a couple of days...
