Iron Man 2 (2010)

Directed By: Jon Favreau
Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson
Plot: The continuing adventures of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. It's 6 months after the events of the first movie, and Stark's revealing of his identity is taking its toll on him
Release Date (in Australia): April 29
My thoughts...: The first film is a worthy attempt at beginning a cinematic franchise for the legendary Marvel hero. With the return of director Jon Favreau as well as Robert Downey Jr. in the role he was born to play (not to mention the removal of the weakest link of the first film, Terrence Howard), this sequel promises to be summer blockbuster gold.

Plot: Follows a pair of married couples, Alfie (Hopkins) and Helena (Jones), and their daughter Sally (Watts) and husband Roy (Brolin), as their passions, ambitions, and anxieties lead them into trouble and out of their minds. After Alfie leaves Helena to pursue his lost youth and a free-spirited call girl named Charmaine (Punch), Helena abandons rationality and surrenders her life to the loopy advice of a charlatan fortune teller.
