The Crow (1994)
Brandon Lee's last performance turned into his finest work, The Crow, based on James O'Barr book of the same name, tells a unique tale of love, death & revenge, despite the fact, that was hardly made, includes a beautiful cinematography work, incredible soundtrack, and it's follow by not so good sequels as wicked prayer, city of angels or salvation (this one is nice after all), remember; and about the fact that if the comic book it's better than the film? Well, each one carries it's on weight, Remember, It Can't Rain All The Time...
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)
OMG, i've seen this one like mmm 16 times? hell of a fun ride, Pilgrim's Sex Bob-Ombs rocks beyond the pages of the comic book in this fine comic book based on film, with lots of action, hilarious scenes and a nice soundtrack elaborated by indie bands like metric, beck, just give it a chance, after all, WE ARE SEX BOB - OMB!!! 1! 2! 3! 4!
Just pay the devil his due, Christopher Reeve, the one that made us believe that a man can fly, starred one of the finest superhero film's of all time, against General Zod, it shows the fall and rise of the man of steel, it doesn't matter if it's donner's cut or the first release, both are great!
Sin City (2005)
This is my Perfect Ten, the finest comic book film of all time, Rourke's performance's just great, just as Clive Owen and Bruce Willis, Rodriguez mood in the film it's amazing, an instant classic, takes you to the deepest streets of baSIN CITY, and be careful, with THAT YELLOW BASTARDDDD!
Constantine (2005)
Hellblazer's adaptation, starring Keanu Reeves, shows the eternal battle between heaven and hell, good vs evil, and A man's love for a fine cigarette and... well, just watch it, the bad mood of Keanu Reeves turn's the whole film a solid point of view of the hole plot in development, nice!
Spider-Man (2002)
OK, there's a Before and After, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, this film proved to be, the twisted turn in the whole comic book based on films industry, with the brave directing by Raimi's and the nice script, Spider-Man shows a very entertainment plot, too bad the third part, F** Up the whole saga, sooo new blood is working on the new release, but don't forget your friendly neigh... well, you know, Excelsior!
300 (2007)
Come On!, It's Frank Miller again! A Full Action Packed film that proves how far you can go with determination, and a nice shell, a beatiful cinematic adaptation of the battle of 300 Spartan's and their searh for glory, because, tonight, WE DINNER IN HELL!
Wanted (2008)
I'm not a great fan of Angelina Jolie's work, but wanted it's a very very entertainment action film, based on the comic book of the same name, if you haven't give it a try, just watch the first 5 minutes, and let me know if you like it or not :P
The Dark Knight (2008)
OK, Christopher Nolan's Batman Saga, shows how far, how serious, and pragmatic film you can have if you take the source material with so much care, This is the Key, that proves how good a comic book film can be, Based On Batman Year One, The Long Halloween and Dark Victory among other's depits The Caped Crusader in the most Serious Mood, a incredible film with the Finest performance of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, and Last performance by Heath Ledger, as the greatest Joker of all time, come on! Why So Serious!?
Daredevil (2003)
This is my guilty pleasure, I Know, it's not as good as the movies on the top, but Ben Affleck's performance as the urban legend in hell's kitchen just rocks' as much as Colin Farrel performance as Bullseye, shows that justice is blind DD Rocks!, buttttttttt I mean the director's cut, so go ahead, give it a try :P
A-OK, this is my top ten "based on" comic books films of all time, no particular order, no anime dudes, only live action films, so, thanks, and please comment, or Rorschach will pay you a hell of a visit :P, by the way if you are looking for Burton's Batman, well... this isn't the place, look somewhere else, lol!
