Jaws (1975)
I'm sure that anyone who thinks of a great white shark when going for a swim has watched this movie (or some of the sequels). Therefore ultimate horror flick, it causes lifetime trauma. I hate it.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
"Whatever you do, don't fall asleep"
What a great idea for a horror film. Some of the special effects are still really great and brutal.

Very out of this world. I remember after seeing it I was afraid to even think about going to sleep if there was a mirror in the room for a long time.
The Believers (1987)
I don't remember much except Martin Sheen cursed by some voodoo people and me scared as hell.
The Exorcist (1973)
I was a regular catholic at the time I watched this. It scared me so much I started to take my religion more serious. So I became more serious and catholicism went out of the picture.

The Entity (1982)
About a woman who gets raped by invisible entity. Based on a true story...

The Manitou (1977)
Psychotic and psychedelic trash that wants to be serious but it's not funny... Something like that.

I'm not a horror fan but I watched many horror films and these are really the only ones that scared me at the time. Some of them I watched long time ago and I remember only the effect.
