Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch - PlayStation 3

The game my girlfriend bought a PS3 to play and it's amazing. I love studio Ghibli so damn much that I couldn't possibly pass this up. It's a little strange though because I really haven't play a JRPG like this since maybe Pokemon Silver so I'm a bit behind in the times. I should correct that.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition - Xbox 360

I never got around to actually beating New Vegas and now that I own the game of the year edition, I'm going to go back and finish it along with the three DLC's I haven't played. It's strange to know where everything is throughout the game but not know the ending. Currently I'm playing the the Old World Blues DLC when my time isn't taken up by Ni No Kuni.

Borderlands 2 - Xbox 360

I've beaten the game and the two DLC's that followed so now I am simply going through the third DLC Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt. I'm a bit tired of playing this sadly as I've played it quite a bit so I'm going to take a break from it and come back at a later point.

The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series - Xbox 360 Live Arcade

Started this in December after the first episode was free on Christmas and bought the others when they were on sale a few days later. Then finished it about the first or second week of January. A wonderful wonderful game. It was a quite a heart wrenching experience at times but I look forward to the next season and hope for equally amazing enthralling experience.

Jet Set Radio HD - Xbox 360 Live Arcade

Haven't gotten the chance to play this as much as I would like too, but sooner or later I will get the chance to play it through.
Plants Vs. Zombies - Xbox 360 Live Arcade

I've played the campaign through to the end once and have just been messing around with mini games this month. A very fun and addicting game that I have no doubt I will go back and play from time to time.

Duplicate - PC Games

I started this last year when it was on sale and have just now gotten back around to playing it. I am indeed playing it on my 360 rather than a PC even though it still says PC when I added it to the site as the game version of Xbox Live. Sorry for that jumbled fuck of a sentence, but I wanted to clear at that up. I am enjoying the game however due to it's overall look and it reminds a lot of Limbo which I also enjoyed.

Dishonored - Xbox 360

My lovely girlfriend bought me this as a Christmas present and I had so many games to play that I was waiting until the right moment to begin. Last night was the right moment so I played for about two hours and enjoyed it very much. I'm looking forward to diving further into this beautiful game.
Silent Hill - PlayStation

I finally get to play this game after never owning a Playstation in my youth. Thanks to my gf owning a PS3 I bought it for 5.99. Started it and have been enjoying it so far even if I didn't get to play as long as I would have liked.
Assassin's Creed II - Xbox 360

Went back to this game after starting it last year. I didn't enjoy the first game much at all, so I was a bit weary of this game even though everyone said it was wonderful. When I started it last year I wasn't blown away but going back this year I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more. It's a pretty wonderful game and I'm excited to see where the story goes from here.

Left 4 Dead 2 - Xbox 360

I first played this a few years back and didn't enjoy it as much as the first due to how much time me and a buddy had put into Left 4 Dead. It saw it was going to be part of Xbox Live's Blowout Sale so I decided to jump on it and give it another try. After playing it again I now realize is just as good or better than the first. I look forward to fighting the undead with a friend or two and maybe giving the first a buy since I never actually got a chance to own just play at a high school buds house. Overall a wonderful game as always from Valve.

Alice: Madness Returns - Xbox 360

Went back for a few minutes to grab an achievement I missed the fist time. Still a fun game for those who enjoyed the original. I found it be far superior in terms of game play to the original and a hell of a lot more fun.

Beyond Good & Evil HD - Xbox 360 Live Arcade

Finally got back to this after completing Deadlight and felt the need to complete this as well. All I have left is the final boss who is a total asshole so hopefully I can manage that. Great game overall with some memorable characters. One can only hope the sequel actually comes out after all the waiting fans have had to do.
Hootsaidtheowl's rating:

Left 4 Dead - Xbox 360

Played it a lot back in high school and decided to pick it up for old time sake. I was quite happy to see it was still fun if not flawed by the second game having better graphics and better mechanics overall. Still a very solid game after these few years and better than a lot of other stuff out there passing as good zombie games.
Hootsaidtheowl's rating:

BioShock Infinite - Xbox 360

The game I've waiting years to finally get my hands on, and it does not fucking disappoint by any means. A true juggernaut in terms of visuals and story. Only wish I didn't have to move the day after it came out so I could have started it that much sooner. I can not put it down.

Banjo-Kazooie - Xbox 360 Live Arcade

I have fond memories of the sequel in my N64 days, but never had the chance to play the original until today. I took the plunge and have been really enjoying the duo I came to love. I look forward to getting the sequel next to relive the glory days.

Banjo-Tooie - Xbox 360 Live Arcade

Played through the entire game on the N64, and never could beat Grunty...and now I'm going to finally change that. It's nice to come back to an old friend and see how well they've aged. I'm quite looking forward to finally seeing the ending.

Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 - Xbox 360

An overall fun fighting game experience, my love of Devil May Cry spelled over to this and thus I use Dante and Vergil way too much.
Hootsaidtheowl's rating:

Devil May Cry 4 - Xbox 360

Having just finished Bioshock Infinite I decided to head back to the series I really enjoy. The third game is by far my favorite so let's see if this one is nearly as good or better.

The Legend of Zelda - Famicom and NES

Finally got around to playing the game entirely in two days. I had some time on my hands and would play through a few dungeons and then take a break. Zelda is a series I have loved for a quite a few years, so it was nice to head back to where it began to see how much as changed this then. The game itself is an amazing start for a franchise that did nothing but get better after every entree. I am more than thrilled that I went back to the beginning and look forward to playing other games in the series that I haven't gotten around to just yet.
Hootsaidtheowl's rating:

ลkami HD - PlayStation Network

Finally got around to playing this gem of a game. I've been enjoying it quite a bit thus far, I really feel like it's one of the best games ever created. It's very much like The Legend of Zelda, and I mean that in a good way.
Katamari Forever - PlayStation 3

I'm a huge Katamari fan, and have been for many years. It took me quite a long time to finally get around to this entry, but my girlfriend bought it while we were out one afternoon. I haven't had much time to play, but I hope to have some time with it soon.
Hootsaidtheowl's rating:

Dead Space 3 - Xbox 360

Have had the game since March, but I haven't had the time to actually play it. For some reason I almost didn't want to play it simply because of how great the second game was. I don't feel it could really get any better than that.
Having played it about halfway through thus far, I can simply say it is really nothing special. The game itself isn't that interesting and the story flat out blows. I liked Issac while enough in the second due to this mind being all over the place, but I don't give a fuck if he is in some kind of love triangle. That's not saying the gameplay isn't solid, it is in almost every way, but the game has dropped most of the scares and set pieces for far less interesting locations.
Hootsaidtheowl's rating:

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon - Nintendo 3DS

I loved the Gamecube a lot more than most people did, part of that was because of Luigi's Mansion. Say what you will about the game and it's quality, I fucking loved it. It was a bit short and not very challenging, but it had some great gameplay and atmosphere. It was exactly the type of game you didn't expect as a launch title and it was all the more amazing for it, and let's face it, Super Mario Sunshine sucked so damn much, that it's nice to see Luigi get the attention he finally deserves.
After years of waiting we finally get a sequel and I couldn't be more excited to play. I've only played about two missions due to be super busy, but the game is just as I remembered. It's quite fun and I'm looking forward to going farther into it. My only really annoyance be it a small one, is the simple fact the at mansion's rooms are lighter than they were in the original. They aren't as dark and foreboding for some reason. It almost seems they are going even more towards kids than the first, that's fine I suppose I just wish the atmosphere was as awesome as the other.
Hootsaidtheowl's rating:

Alan Wake - Xbox 360

I went back to finish the this game 100%. I managed to play through on Nightmare difficulty, which really wasn't all that bad. One of my favorite games this gen.
