Films Considered The Worst

Based on Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard's book, 'Battlefield Earth' was a massive critical and box office bomb! It was criticized mainly for its acting, script, visual style, overuse of tilted angles, slow-motion and tinted scenes, many major plot-holes, dialogue and inconsistences. Roger Ebert said it was "like taking a bus trip with someone who has needed a bath for a long time". At the 21st Golden Raspberry Awards, it won seven Razzie awards including Worst Picture, in 2006, it won 'Worst Drama of Our First 25 Years' and in 2010, it won 'Worst Picture of the Decade'. They planned a sequel covering the second half of the novel but the massive failure of the film shut down plans for a sequel! Thank god for that!

'Freddy Got Fingered' was poorly received. It was criticized for its acting, plot and unfunny gross-out gags. Of the critics, it got a minus one out of five stars in a review and Roger Ebert gave it a rare zero out of four stars. It won five Razzie awards at the 22nd Golden Raspberry Awards including Worst Picture.
