Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982)
Surreal, dark, depressing and bleak, not only does it have great and very stark animation, but also a really great soundtrack, as well.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Naked Lunch (1992)
A really strange film, with some really great performances. It's one of my favorite David Cronenberg films.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Red Dawn (1984)
Is it dated? Definitely. Overtly violent? Very definitely. It's still one of my favorite films, despite all of that.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
It could have been so much better, but however as much as I wanted to like the film, I couldn't bring myself to do even that.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Super Troopers (2001) (2002)
A pretty much enjoyably silly movie, and one that features Brian Cox (the actor who played the first Hannibal Lector), as a police captain, of a group that engages in wacky hijinks, while trying to find out more about a drug operation, that's distributing lately in town.
It's one of my favorite guilty pleasure films, of all time.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Grandma's Boy (2006)
It's my second time, watching this film, and it's as bad as I remembered it being the first time I saw it.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The Mummy (1999)
A goofy, really over the top kind of film. The effects are pretty decent, at least for the time.
It's not a great film, but still kind of fun.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Say Anything... (1989)
One of my favorite, John Cusack films. If I had to make a top ten list, off hand it would be at number three or four.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)
One of my favorite films, I can't think of a better way to start off the new year, than watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
A View to a Kill (1985)
It's not the best James Bond film, but it is pretty good and will always have a place in my heart, for four reasons.
1) It's the movie, that first introduced me, to the awesomeness that is Christopher Walken.
2) It's the first James Bond film, that I have ever saw.
3) Not only is Duran Duran, one of my favorite bands of all time, but A View To A Kill, is also one of my favorite songs of all time.
4) It ended the Roger Moore era, on a pretty high note.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The Phantom of the Opera (2004)
As a fan of the musical, I would have to say it is a okay film, that could have been a lot better.
Gerald Butler, is not bad in the role as The Phantom, I do have to admit that it would have been interesting, to see what Antonio Banderas, would have been like in the film.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The Land Before Time (1988)
An impossibally, adorably cute film (except for Sharptooth, he is far from cute).
It's a criminally overlooked, and under appreciate looked movie.
If anything, Don Bluth was great at balancing both cute and scary.
Csse in point, The Secret of Nimh.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Now You See Me (2013)
A film, that is an odd mix between The Illusionist, The Prestige, Hudson Hawk, and Ocean's Eleven.
At times, it can be convoluted and complicated, but oddly enough, it's what also make the film fun.
Done right, I see no reason, why this can't be a series of some sorts.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Hudson Hawk (1991)
It's a comedy, it's a musical, it's an action film, it trys to be everything all at once, and never really quite gells.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The Hangover: Part III (2013)
It's an okay film, but more of pretty much the same as other two films.
Thankfully, the whole series is over and done with.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Also known as I Come In Peace, it's a enjoyably cheesy film, that's action packed and criminally underrated.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The Muppets (2011)
After a long time, of not having The Muppets in a major movie, it was really great seeing them again in a film.
It's one of my favorite films, featuring The Muppets, next to The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, and Muppets Take Manhattan.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Aliens (1986)
Not only one of the best film sequels ever made, but also an action packed movie from beginning to end.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
An enjoyably and gleefully over the top, action film, it's not one of the best films Bruce Willis has made, but it's still a pretty fun movie.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Probably, one of my favorite George Clooney films, it's very much underated, and is worth the watch.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Silver Linings Playbook (2012)
Jennifer Lawrence and Robert DeNiro, are really great in the film, Bradley Cooper is pretty okay, I guess.
Overall, it's one of the best films from the last couple of years.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
It's surprisingly, a lot better of a film, than I expected.
I especially liked Ed Helms, as the drug boss, he was one of myfavorite things about the movie.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Not an easy film to watch, it's cold, brutal, and bleak, and yet that's what makes the film interesting.
I'm curious to see, what the remake ends up like. It can't be any worse than Robocop 3.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
RoboCop 2 (1990)
It's not nearly as good, as the original, but it has it's moments, like the scene where they test replacement Robocops.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Trainspotting (1996)
One of my favorite films from the 90's, and it gets better with each viewing.
Awesome soundtrack, also.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Of all of the earlier Adam Sandler movies, this one is one of my favorites.
I love Steve Buscemi's cameo in the film, too.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Is it possible, that a sequel, can be even better than the original?
In this case, yes. So far, The Hunger Games film series, blows the Twilight Saga out of the fricking water.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Vacation (1983)
Of all of the Vacation movies, the first would probably have to be my favorite.
Who hasn't been on a vacation, where almost everything doesn't happen according to plan?
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Judge Dredd (1995)
Granted, it's not one of Stallone's best films, but still I like the over the top cheesiness, of the film.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Spartacus (1960)
Before there was Gladiator, there was Spartacus. It's an epic movie, that's also one of Kurt Douglas' best films.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Meet the Parents (2000)
One of my favorite comedies, and Ben Stiller films. I especially like the volleyball scene with him accidentally hitting Owen Wilson's charecter on the nose.
A lot of the humor, comes from Greg desperately trying to impress Jack, and his family, only to have everything back fire on him.
The sequels are okay, but I like the first movie a lot more.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
You're Next (2011)
A horror film, that's like a odd, messed up combination between Home Alone, The Last House On The Left, and Saw.
It's also really hard to take seriously, given the killers motives (for the lack of a better word), the sure ammount of prep word, and how at times, they're not exactly the most sharp pencils in the box.
It's an okay film, but not the "most aweome horror film" of the year, that some make it up to be.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
28 Days Later (2002)
You think your day is bad? Thankfully, you're not Jim. Now, there's someone who is having a bad day.
Danny Boyle, does a great job at creating a landscape where there is literally gloom, hopelessness, and dispear pretty much everywhere and no one is safe.
The sequel, is pretty good, too.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The film that first introduced, Kevin Smith to filmgoers, it's also one of my favorite films, that he has made.
And as downbeat as the ending is, apparently the original ending was going to be even more bleaker.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Is it one of the of the best films, of all time? No. Is it one of the worst films of all tmes? Also no.
It is however, a fun and very cheesy film, with a pretty decent soundtrack.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994)
Jim Carrey, would go on to have a great carrer, and while Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, isn't one of his best films, it's still a very enjoyable movie, that I like watching every once in awhile.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Gladiator (2000)
While it is not as great as Spartacus or even Ben Hur, it is still an epically well made film.
And one of Ridley Scott's best movies, as well.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Rock of Ages (2012)
Granted, it's not a great movie, but it does have it's moments.
If anything, it made me want to watch the actual music all that much more.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The Wedding Singer (1998)
I'm more of a fan of Adam Sandler's earlier movies, and The Wedding Singer happens to be one of my favorite films, that he has made.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
Footloose (1984)
I really like the movie a lot, especially the film's soundtrack.
And as much as I liked Kevin Bacon, in the movie, I really liked John Lithgow and Chris Penn's performances, even more so.
Agent Kermit D. Fonz's rating:
The Karate Kid (1984)
One of my favorite films, the sequels are okay, but of all of the movies, I like the first one the most.
The soundtrack is really great, as well.
