Disliked by many, but I like them

She does act crazy and says weird things. I understand that. But as a musician she's a wonderful vocalist and good songwriter. Kurt Cobain/Nirvana/classic rock fanboys will say she's nothing without Kurt. Bull! The Nobody's Daughter" 2007 demos are some of her best work!

Can't be argued with the fact that a pop group put together on a reality show is manufactured. I was never one who got big into boybands but One Direction completely caught my attention. Their individual voices each have something unique and also blend well together. Screw the autotune, their voices sound better live than on their official albums. I do wish they would do a little more songwriting as they say they would like to. The little they have written were well enough, so why not try more... guys? Plus they sound like they would be nice people and fun to be around.

I loved her as Lola Valente. (in the 2007/2008 telenova "Lola... Erase Una Vez")
Although most of the dislike towards her is coming from Miley Cyrus fanatics who accuse her of stealing Liam Hemsworth from Miley. Yet they don't realize Liam and Miley had already separated.
I think Eiza seems like a nice girl. She presents herself professionally in public from what I've seen. Good for her on keeping work and personal life seperate.

Known in the mainstream for her party autotune ridden electropop songs.
In her demos she has more variety with little to no autotune. And oh she can sing just fine without it. Sample at least the first minute from each.
Goodbye (acoustic): www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMhbtwwltCE
Things Work Out My Way (a "rockier" sounding song): www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQDxs4xQrmA
Sunday Morning (slower song): www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQDxs4xQrmA

So she was in the X Factor and some feel she's too "pop" for metal. Sounds fine to me. Her sweet voice fits the symphonic metal genre and can sound powerful at times.
