Chicago P.D. - Season 5

Halstead is shocked when he finds out that Erin Lindsay had left Chicago without notice and on top of that received a new partner Hailey Upton. Meanwhile, the Intelligence unit investigates an escalating gang war that involves an accidental death of a young child. Voight seeks help from Antonio Dawson who later asks him to return to Intelligence full time. Also, Burgess returns from her leave.

5x02 - The Thing About Heroes

The Intelligence unit teams up with the FBI after a deadly bomb explodes during an annual street festival. The case turns personal for Burgess when an officer she helped trained goes missing after the explosion and evidence linking him to the bomb and a terrorist group mounts. Desperate to prove her friend's innocence, Burgess goes against Voight and the investigation to dig deeper on her own and discovers her friend was running his own undercover operation on the terrorist group.

5x03 - Promise

With Dawson back in Intelligence, he takes on a case that involves the brutal murder of a young, beautiful Latina woman who is suspected to be a drug mule. Dawson later begins to hit roadblocks when he has trouble finding strong witnesses.

5x04 - Snitch

The Intelligence unit investigates a series of murders that have a personal connection with Atwater as his younger brother might be involved. Meanwhile, Upton questions Ruzek's actions following an altercation with a suspect. Voight suspects that Dawson might be tipping off the wrong people as his eyewitnesses to the murders turn up dead.

5x05 - Home

When Intelligence busts a meth lab run by gang leader Marshall Carter, they uncover a re-homing scam in which children adopted from foreign countries are abandoned and then sold online. Meanwhile, Atwater struggles with the difficult decision about whether to move his siblings Jordan and Vinessa to a safer environment outside of Chicago.

5x06 - Fallen

A picture-perfect family is shot dead in their home and the team goes in search of a drug dealer with a likely connection. Voight asks for the help of Vice Sergeant Sean McGrady who has an old beef with Upton. When McGrady turns up dead during the investigation, the case takes an unlikely turn.

5x07 - Care Under Fire

In the wake of several gang-related child abductions, Intelligence must race against time to find a kidnapped boy. Owing to their swiftness and military precision, the team scours the VA records and narrows it down to a former Army Ranger. Because of his previous experience as a Ranger, Halstead convinces Voight to send him undercover to try and get information from the inside.

5x08 - Politics

One of Voight's friends, Congressman Scott Graynor, is found passed out in his hotel room with a dead Ukranian girl. When Intelligence discovers the murder is connected to a sting and Burgess' boyfriend is working with the Feds, Burgess must choose between compromising her case or her boyfriend's case.

5x09 - Monster

The death of Judge Tommy Wells' daughter puts Intelligence on the track of a pill mill spreading into the suburbs of Chicago and the doctor enabling it. Meanwhile, Voight discovers who's been leaking information from the 21st District.

5x10 - Rabbit Hole

Halstead's partying with Camila unintentionally puts him in the middle of a drug-related homicide and he is forced to choose between loyalty to his unit and his girl. Meanwhile, Voight finally discovers the mole in his unit.

5x11 - Confidential

Intelligence stumbles on the women's shelter where a pimp they are looking for is scouting out girls. Burgess moves the case forward with a series of confidential tips, but risks putting her informant in harm's way.

5x12 - Captive

Intelligence rallies to rescue Atwater, after his belongings and his blood are found at the house of a convicted felon. Atwater struggles for survival while coming face-to-face with his captor and realising a difficult connection to his past.

5x13 - Chasing Monsters

Intelligence works with a visiting detective, Marcella Gomez when a gang from El Salvador infiltrates Chicago. Dawson finds himself getting close to Gomez, only to learn she has a hidden motive for being in Chicago. Meanwhile, the body of Justin Voight's killer is found.

5x14 - Anthem

When a basketball star is found murdered after an anti-police rally, Intelligence navigates a politically charged environment to track down the killer. To complicate matters further, Woods' daughter Brianna is tangled up in the case.

5x15 - Sisterhood

Intelligence tracks down a vigilante who is killing rapists. The investigation hits home for Burgess, who begins to question if the men who attacked her sister truly paid for their actions.

5x16 - Profiles

Intelligence investigates a string of bombings targeting members of the media. Racing against a ticking clock, the team enlists Firehouse 51 to help examine the devices and prevent the next attack.

5x17 - Breaking Point

When a prominent Alderman known for his urban revitalization efforts is killed, Intelligence looks into the corruption haunting his neighbourhood. Meanwhile, Olinsky feels the pressure after receiving an ultimatum from Woods.

5x18 - Ghosts

Upton brings back an old undercover identity to help take down a meth ring spearheaded by a former criminal contact, With pressure from Woods mounting, Voight calls in a favour for Olinsky.

5x19 - Payback

A string of stash house robberies lead back to an unlikely individual. Voight confronts a key witness in the Bingham investigation.

5x20 - Saved

After Voight witnesses the kidnapping of a young woman with a mysterious connection to his past, Intelligence works to find a connection between her kidnapping and several bank robberies. Ruzek gets a tip that a grand jury has been summoned, bringing Olinsky one step closer to standing trial for Bingham's murder.

5x21 - Allegiance

Halstead and Atwater go undercover to prevent military-grade weapons from hitting the street. Meanwhile, Voight calls in a favour as a last-ditch effort to clear Olinsky's name for Bingham's murder.

5x22 - Homecoming

Tensions run high as Intelligence seeks justice for Olinsky after he is stabbed in prison. Meanwhile, Antonio's loyalty is put to the test and Woods looks to take down Voight once and for all.
