Twelve Monkeys

U.S. Release date: Jan. 5, 1996

I'll never forget seeing 12 Monkeys in the theatre on opening night in '96. It's the only time I can recall where the movie ended & the audience was stunned into silence. Nobody talked on their way out until they reached the lobby, which I think speaks of how powerful of an effect the film had.

Primal Fear

The only Richard Gere movie that I've seen that actually rises above mediocrity. That's mostly thanks to the story and Edward Norton's debut performance of course.
