I can relate to being in a place where I feel I don't belong. Where the authority figure is unfair. Even sadistic or insane. That mixed with friendship and revolution make it a fantastic film.

Such an important movie about news media and entertainment. How the lines can blur. Do you watch the tube to be informed or to fill time until you die?

Whether it's apathy or ignorance that prevents us from correcting our wrongs, movies like this can take a person to a place where they want to start fixing problems and questioning more bullshit.

What could this gang of four possibly do that's so bad? Well they can make a beautiful song seem diabolical. This movie was so good it could create intrusive thoughts every time you hear singing in the Rain or Beethoven.

1971 was a great year for movies. This was among the best.
