A 1930s propaganda film that relates the story, as told by the high school principal to parents at a PTA meeting, of the scourge of marijuana. The tale revolves around Mae and Jack, accomplices in the distribution of marijuana, who manage to entice the local high school kids to stop by Mae's apartment to smoke reefer. Of course, the students find their lives falling completely apart as mayhem, premarital sex and murder occur.

Oliver Stone's homage to 60's rock group The Doors also doubles as a biography of the group's late singer, the "Electric Poet" Jim Morrison. The movie follows Morrison from his psychedelic days as a film student in Los Angeles to his mysterious death in Paris in 1971, at the age of 27.

In a small village in Colombia, seventeen year old Maria supports her family with her salary working in a floriculture. She is fired and with a total lack of perspective of finding a new job, she decides to accept the offer to work as a drug mule, flying to USA with sixty-two pellets of cocaine in her stomach. He gets them out and decides to join them on their trip to New Orleans in time for Mardi Gras.
