Doctor and the Medics=formed in London as glam tribute band in 1981, in 1986 the big turn, they recorded a 1969 christian song from Mass. native Norman Greenbaum, yes, Greenbaum was an Orthodox Jewish who studied music at Boston University, and sold 2M of this church/beat song, London glamsters rented twins, almost, dancers from Cult's Rain fame video, made a flashy music video and got #1 across Europe

Joe Jackson=surely the best britain songwriter, yes not fancy as Ziggy Stardust but solid, try to compare as pard Elaine Caswell (dressed here like Lene Lovich) with Mick Ronson...com'on com'on...we've really got a good thing going...ops...
Mass. Patriot's rating:

Judas Priest=I've posted a lot of New Wave lists, maybe you think about your Max Patriot as a Robert Smith fan with Tim Burton haircut (ahahahahah!) nope...in early 80's Italy New Wave was so POP and metal kids like me must move to Albion to see big festivals like Donington, anyway this one from my fav studio album of ever.
In 2011 touring Albion and Emerald with my band we had a gig in B'Ham, when we're in the North Side, near the ex British Steel I saw a big metal eagle in the middle of a square, the same metal eagle on the cover of Screaming For Vengeance...I stopped the tourbus, run down and watch the eagle as a kid with a vivid color toy...I've started cry and sing :
Out there is a fortune waiting to be had
If you think I'll let you go you're mad
You've got another thing comin'
Mass. Patriot's rating:
