This is a list of the greatest movies from 2000-2009 that I've seen. Don't tell me I forgot a movie and you think it should be on here. There's a reason these 50 movies are listed. If I thought otherwise, you'd see a different list.

As much as I love cartoons and animation, I chose not to put any on here because I do not feel they are "films". Not to discredit those that fall in this category, however, because they are an art form unto themselves. Plus, I can't actually think of any that I'd want to put on here, anyway.

I chose to leave off any movie by Tarantino and Wes Anderson because I have yet to see a movie of their's I actually liked. So don't tell me I forgot them.

Also, don't tell me I forgot the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Peter Jackson hasn't made a good movie since Dead Alive.
