Description: Tired of writing riddles for children, Yamaoka Momosuke plans on gathering spooky and gruesome stories and publishing them in an anthology called Hyakumonogatari ("One Hundred Tales"). While researching these old myths and legends he comes across a mysterious trio who call themselves the Ongyou. They are detectives who are investigating the legends to reveal their truths...and bring those in the wrong to justice. My biggest disappointments in entertainment (144 tv items)

"By the time I watched Requiem From the Darkness I actually didn't want to do it but hey, it's october so what the heck. This has some fame as the scariest anime of all time, and although it has messed up stuff, disturbing imagery and superb atmosphere, it's completely episodic and has no overall plot in it, and the characters are nothing special either. I was so bored while watching it, I started Harukana Receive midway. Anime and horror just don't mix well."
