“Una serie con muy buenos personajes, muy buena animación y un muy buen guión. Es una serie muy simple que no explora temas muy interesantes, pero como una serie de entretenimiento está bastante bien y explora a sus personajes y sus relaciones de una muy buena manera. Conflictos como el de Mabel y su temor a crecer o Stan y su temor a que Dipper y Mabel sufran por los eventos sobrenaturales de Gravity Falls son muy buenos, mostrando la complejidad de estos personajes. Y es que aun en capítulos irrelevantes que no aportan a la trama, se elabora en los personajes y sus interacciones, creando una serie memorable y entrañable por igual con varios momentos emocionantes y conmovedores.
