" Netflix- 1hr. 38min. First Viewing Wild Canaries is a story of two halves. The first half of the film is okay, but too often relies on melodrama, taking most of the fun out of the story. The second half is, however, one of the most delightfully absurd I've seen in years. Had the set-up been as fun as the punchline, this would've been a genuinely wonderful mystery-caper. As it is, it's flawed but completely enjoyable. The second half is worth it. "
