I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since there was a decent cast involved, I thought I might as well check it out. Description:
Howard Wakefield, a New York City lawyer, suffers a nervous breakdown which causes him to live in the attic of his home for several months, coming out in the daytime when his family is gone to shower and eat.
His withdrawal leads him to examine his life and he rationalizes that he has not abandoned his family because he is still in the house. When a former boyfriend re-enters his wife's life, he realizes that he may not be able to return to life he has abandoned.

It reminded me of this phase that you go through when you are a kid when you wonder how your parents would react if you would disappear. Well, that’s exactly what the main character did, he disappeared for months and remained hidden in the attic above their garage so he could spy on his family during the whole time.
